1172nd Committee of Ministers Human Rights meeting - case of Kurić and others v. Slovenia

Strasbourg – 1172nd meeting of the Committee of Ministers on the execution of European Court of Human Rights’ judgments will take place between 4th and 6th of June 2013.

The representatives of 47 member states of the Council of Europe will be discussing 14 judgments of the European Court of Human Rights concerning Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine. One of the points on the agenda will also be the discussion on the case of Cyprus v. Turkey (the issue of property rights of displaced persons) and Varnava and Others v. Turkey (failure to conduct effective investigations in the fate of missing persons).

The implementation of the judgment in the case of Kurić and others v. Slovenia will be discussed among other cases. The Minister of Interior of Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Gregor Virant will take part in the meeting of the Committee to present the state of the implementation of the judgment.
