Announcement of the 1186th meeting of the Committee of Ministers on the implementation of ECHR judgments, 3rd – 5th December 2013

Strasbourg – The Committee of Ministers will at its 1186th meeting from 3rd to 5th December 2013 in Strasbourg examine the implementation of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.

This supervisory role of the Committee of Ministers is provided for under Article 46 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The Committee of Ministers will examine cases that concern Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The Committee will, among others, also examine the case Kurić and others against Slovenia. The Minister for Interior and Public Administration of the Republic of Slovenia dr. Gregor Virant will attend the meeting and present the status of the implementation of the so called “erased persons” judgment.
