Fourth part of the 2010 PACE Ordinary Session
Strasbourg - The fourth and last part of the 2010 Ordinary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be held in Strasbourg from 4 to 8 October.
PACE will be addressed by German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milošoski in his capacity as Chairman of the CoE Committee of Ministers and Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. In addition, an urgent debate entitled "Recent rise in national security discourse in Europe: the case of Roma" is scheduled.
Attention will also be devoted to the economic issues, in particular the activities of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as well as the strategy, management and operation of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).
The Session will be attended by the representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Darja Lavtižar Bebler, head of the delegation, and Jakob Presečnik, member of the delegation
The exhibition of Slovenian lace: "Europe in Lace" will be officially opened on the sidelines of the Session.
