Slovenian lace exhibition "Europe in Lace" at the Council of Europe from 4 to 7 October 2010
Strasbourg - During the fourth part of the 2010 Ordinary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, Ambassador Damjan Bergant, Slovenian Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, and Darja Lavtižar Bebler, Head of the National Assembly delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, will officially open the exhibition "Europe in Lace". The exhibition features the flags and emblems of the 27 Member States of the European Union. The traditional Slovenian bobbin lace was made by the society "Cvetke" from Žiri, Slovenia.
The exhibition which will be officially opened on Wednesday, 6 October 2010, at 13.00 in the Palace of Europe (Hemicycle) may be visited throughout the session of the Parliamentary Assembly, from 4 to 8 October 2010.
